About us

Atomic Adventures LLC is a Texas-based STEAM summer program founded in 2022 by Mandy Delbello and Scott Creek, two entrepreneurs passionate about engaging young minds in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). The idea for Atomic Adventures was born out of their son’s enthusiasm for hands-on learning and the lack of local options for summer STEAM activities to keep him engaged and learning during the summer months. Driven by this need, Mandy and Scott launched Atomic Adventures to provide children with a dynamic and educational summer experience designed to stimulate curiosity, foster creativity, and combat the well-documented effects of summer learning loss.

Research shows that children can experience learning loss over the summer when they aren’t actively engaged, losing progress made during the school year, especially in math and science. Atomic Adventures was designed with this challenge in mind, providing enriching experiences that keep children’s minds active, curious, and challenged.

Since its inception, Atomic Adventures has ignited a love for STEAM in young learners in Katy and has grown to serve the communities of Richmond, Sugarland, Fulshear, and Houston. Our mission is to help combat summer learning loss and inspire a lifelong love of learning by introducing kids to STEAM in a fun, interactive, and supportive environment.

Our vision is to expand Atomic Adventures across Texas, reaching communities statewide with inspiring, thought-provoking STEAM experiences that stretch young minds, spark curiosity, and empower the next generation of thinkers and innovators.

At Atomic Adventures we are committed to providing a safe, engaging, and enriching camp experience for every child. The health and safety of our campers are our top priorities, and our trained staff—certified in first aid, CPR, and behavior management—follow strict protocols to maintain a secure environment. We conduct daily health screenings, encourage frequent handwashing, and sanitize high-touch surfaces to promote cleanliness and well-being. Our team is prepared with emergency procedures, including first aid and evacuation plans, and we work closely with families to manage allergies and special needs.

Beyond safety, we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional curriculum that inspires curiosity, creativity, and a love for STEAM learning. Our hands-on activities and interactive lessons ensure campers stay engaged while having fun. We believe in open communication and collaboration with parents and children to create a positive and personalized camp experience. Campers are always supervised by qualified educators, and we maintain low staff-to-child ratios to provide individualized attention. Outdoor play and movement are an integral part of our program, and we prioritize hydration, sun safety, and a well-balanced day of learning and exploration.
