Educational Site Manager
Position Overview
The Educational Site Manager is responsible for the efficient daily operations of Atomic Adventures Summer Camps. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality STEAM-based curriculum, the health and safety of all participants, and the smooth functioning of the site. The Educational Site Manager oversees staff compliance, addresses parent inquiries, manages logistics, and ensures adherence to all site and program guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Operations
- Open and close the camp daily, following all site-specific guidelines for facility access and security.
- Ensure Atomic Adventures materials are stored securely and organized each day.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at the camp location.
- Ensure all meals are promptly delivered to and distributed among students upon arrival.
- Curriculum Delivery
- Ensure the curriculum is delivered with integrity and in alignment with Atomic Adventures’ standards.
- Support staff in preparing and implementing engaging STEAM activities for campers.
- Health & Safety
- Conduct daily well-child checks and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate daily attendance records, including sign-in and sign-out logs.
- Ensure children are released only to approved parents/guardians in accordance with safety protocols.
- Technology & Documentation
- Oversee the timely upload of photos and videos to the Atomic Adventures Google Drive weekly.
- Ensure all records, including attendance logs and incident reports, are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Staff Management
- Monitor staff adherence to dress code policies and maintain a professional atmosphere.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to team members as needed.
- Ensure all staff responsibilities are carried out effectively and escalate unresolved issues to Mandy Delbello.
- Parent & Community Engagement
- Serve as the primary contact for parent questions, concerns, and inquiries.
- Escalate complex issues or unresolved concerns to Mandy Delbello.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for families.
- Logistics & Weekly Tasks
- Pick up curriculum and supplies from the home office every Sunday in preparation for the camp week.
- Coordinate meal delivery and distribution processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Drop off curriculum and supplies to the home office every Friday after the conclusion of camp.
Qualifications
- State-Certified Teacher with experience in early childhood education or youth programming.
- Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
- Current certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in using Google Drive for uploading and organizing materials.
- Ability to manage and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and transport supplies up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to supervise indoor and outdoor activities in varying weather conditions.
Work Schedule
- Full-time during the summer camp season, including mandatory Sunday curriculum pick-up and daily camp responsibilities.

Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $30 per hour.
- Benefits: This position is seasonal and does not include additional benefits.

Summer Program Assistant/Camp Assistant
Position Overview:
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the summer camp program. This role involves supporting the site manager in ensuring the smooth opening and closing of the camp, assisting with curriculum delivery, managing daily attendance, and ensuring children’s health and safety, including well-child checks. The Assistant Teacher will also handle parent inquiries and direct concerns to the Site Manager when necessary. In addition, this role includes assisting with setting up activities, supervising children indoors and outdoors, and completing cleaning duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager in the opening and closing of the camp.
- Support curriculum delivery to ensure it aligns with program goals and is implemented with integrity.
- Conduct daily attendance and sign-in/sign-out procedures for all children.
- Ensure the health and safety of children, including completing well-child checks.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and engagement.
- Assist with setting up activities and ensuring all materials are ready for use.
- Assist with cleaning duties as assigned, ensuring that the facility is tidy and organized throughout the day.
- Address parent questions and concerns and escalate issues that require the Site Manager’s attention.
- Ensure that camp materials are stored properly at the end of each day.
- Upload weekly photos and videos of activities to the designated Google Drive.
- Ensure meal delivery to students is completed upon arrival.
- Follow site guidelines and assist in securing the facility at the end of each day.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license.
- CPR and First Aid certified.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday.
- No nights or weekends required.
- Experience working with children.
Reports To: Site Manager / Mandy Delbello
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $13–15 per hour.
- This is a seasonal, non-benefits-eligible position.
